ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the Internal Collections program
  • Responsible for reviewing writer inquiries for discoveries as assigned 
  • Handle more complex audits including residual audits, 14K and 14E2 reviews
  • Process billings of delinquent contributions including interest as applicable
  • Process refunds based on over payments, adjust misreported earnings (Quarter Switches) and adjust correct pension and health fund rates as discovered
  • Responsible for processing the monthly Internal Collections Report and Recap
  • Assist in answering Employer and Participant questions with regard to the proper reporting of contributions
  • Answer Participant questions regarding Pension Plan and Health Fund Statements
  • Evaluate whether compensation is subject to contributions
  • Determine if ceiling has been reached for a project
  • Discuss proper calculation of ceiling
  • Review Pension Plan and Health Fund Statement discrepancies to determine if contributions are due
  • Answer Employer questions regarding making proper contributions to the Trust Funds, billing letters, interest accrual, and ceiling calculations
  • Follow up on all Internal Collection billing letters.  Communicate with employers regarding contributions due and any additional assessed interest
  • Escalate collection process by following Internal Program guidelines including processing second and final billing notices
  • Prepare attorney referrals of delinquent billings as needed
  • Process contributions received.  Prepare Report of Contributions as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to Participants and Employers at all times a

?What you need to have;

  • 3-4 years of entertainment industry experience required in at least 3 of the following areas:  payroll processing, contract administration, contribution reporting, client relations, collections, finance and accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent written and oral communications and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to deal effectively with people, work under pressure and meet deadlines

Work schedule is Monday - Friday day shift 8am - 5pm
