Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions currently searching a qualified Inventory Associate.

The Inventory Associate is responsible for the accurate collection of MPN's (manufacturing part numbers) and non-stock inventory parts.In addition, the Inventory Associate will be responsible for populating inventory information onto Excel spreadsheets.

If you are looking for a short term work contract with previous inventory experience then this position is great for you. This position requires the candidate to be available from 8AM-5PM.  

                                       

Essential Duties:
• Collects Manufacturer Part Numbers from Non-Stock Storeroom parts
• Collects Manufacturer Name, and any other relevant information 
• Populate spreadsheets with collected information
• Submit information in mass data systems
• Print label for parts
• Performs inventory cycle counts on existing, and newly created item records
• Ensures compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous Work Experience:
1-3 years work experience in inventory/storeroom setting, data collection or related experience
Prior storeroom cleanup projects a plus

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, capability of processing information quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relations with peers, internal partners, clients, and suppliers.
  • Ability to comprehend basic inventory parts information (MPN/MFR)



Education Requirements:
High School Diploma
