Job Description

We are currently looking for an Inventory Specialist to bring their professionalism and meticulous accuracy to the position. Inventory specialists will work closely with management, develop and improve existing procedures and policies and will be responsible for receiving orders, and stocking inventory.

Successful Inventory Specialist should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, be computer savvy, and have strong business math skills. Must be able to work both independently and in a team.

Inventory Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Tracking inventory maintenance through performing cycle counts on product to match up the system.
  • Controlling product flows and supplies.
  • Maintain an organized work environment and facilities.
  • Reporting to management and advise on process improvements.
  • Develop loss mitigation processes and protocols.
  • Work with team members to efficiently merchandise and display products
  • Compile and ensure accurate inventory records and reports.
  • Address any inventory/product problems, obstacles or procurement challenges.
  • Forecast future inventory requirements.
  • Compile balance, price and cost reports, and audit counts of varied products.
  • Auditing the condition and accuracy of inbound deliveries
  • Entering in product information into database system
  • Breaking down pallets to audit for case pick accuracy and report any missing inventory
  • Verifying product rotations
  • Record all damaged product and or poor-quality product that are removed from the system
  • Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Inventory Specialist Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in the field. Experience in logistics, inventory control, and supply management is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Working knowledge of word processor, database and spreadsheet software.
  • Able to work weekends.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to email efficiently and maintain strong lines of communication with leadership team.
  • Ability to successfully manage concurrent projects, multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Dependable and organized
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast pace environment and comply with strict time frames and deadlines.

Computer knowledge

  • ?Must have a strong working knowledge of Excel, Quick books and Word
