Design and Technical Services (DTS) is seeking to add an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager to our team. This position will occasionally operate in an individual contributor role, a project management role, a consultative role, and a managerial role depending on the specific project. This is a remote position with occasional travel.

As the IT Project Manager you will work closely with the sales team engaging various customers to understand their needs, establish requirements, and document scopes of work. As the IT technical expert, you will have the ability to demonstrate technical competence and a good understanding of a wide variety of IT technologies and services within various industries. You will also be responsible for staffing awarded engagements and managing the teams to produce the scoped deliverables, meet the contractual performance metrics, and complete the project schedule and budget constraints.

This position will be expected to manage a widely diverse set of technical projects and teams simultaneously across multiple geography's and time zones. You will regularly be responsible for communications at all levels of the customers' and our internal organization.

While this is a remote position and the specific geographic location is flexible, this successful incumbent will be required to occasionally travel within North America as needed for customer meetings, project kickoff's, or other activities as required for each project. Travel will fluctuate but will generally average less than 20%.

Specific Requirements:

Project Management

  • At least 5 years' experience in PM
  • PMP Certification or demonstrated experience using of PMBOK methodologies

Technical Experience

  • Experienced in a combination of web, data base, mobile development including UX / UI
  • Experience with infrastructure application software platform changes supporting multiple industries
  • Experience in implementation of Data Security / Integrity and Cybersecurity
  • Experience performing Cloud Migration, Cloud Management and Database Administration
  • Experience developing AI applications
  • Experience with RPA
  • Experience managing, consolidating, and supporting data centers NOC / SOC
  • Experience managing teams performing asset management support for network and user assets
  • Experience with AGILE, ITIL, and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Familiarity with data analytics (PowerBI or similar)
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle, and Python
