Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals.  We are seeking an IT Software Developer to work onsite at John Deere’s facility in Milan, IL.  This is a contingent position forecasted for two or more years. 

The Global Windows Server Team needs a software developer to help create, manage, and maintain websites, databases, and other developed systems to support Windows Servers for our customers.

Required Experience:

  • Basic Server experience
  • Strong development background
  • Developing frameworks
  • Writing code in Java, Spring, JPA
  • Writing scripts in python
  • Automation (Jenkins)
  • HTML Website Coding
  • Creating basic websites from backend databases
  • Connecting to MySQL and SQL
  • Basic HTML and CSS coding
  • Continuous Integration (Software Delivery Pipeline)
  • Version Control System - Git

Desired Experience:

  • Advanced HTML website coding
  • PHP coding or similar (such as .NET)
  • Apache Subversion (SVN)
  • Advanced Python
  • Amazon Web Services Platform
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Docker

*** This position is located in Milan, IL.  Candidates must be able to relocate to this location at their own expense. ***
