Job Description

We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer with strong C# / .NET development skills, but more importantly we’re looking for someone who knows how to lead a development team and build an effective software development process. You will be hands-on in the implementation of new and existing C# components to support the delivery of our best-in-class game content to customers.



What you'll do

  • Use your expert level C# / .NET coding, design, and debugging skills daily.
  • Guide day-to-day work of development team.

  • Along with the management team, define and build the processes that allow the development team to continually improve productivity and quality, while delivering on business commitments.

  • Guide and mentor other developers and create an environment that allows team members to grow and unlock their full potential.

  • Fully understand and clarify software requirements, working with the product management team and other stakeholders as necessary.

  • Work with the Project Manager and development team to produce project and task schedules.

  • Work closely with the QA lead and test team to help clarify requirements, define test cases, and gather information on issues found by the QA team.

  • Maintain clear and direct communication with the management team, Project Manager, and other stakeholders, escalating issues as appropriate.

  • Coordinate with other global technology and games teams on dependencies.

  • All other duties as assigned.



What we're looking for

  • Expert level C#, with 7+ years of commercial development experience with object-oriented design and an emphasis on delivering libraries and frameworks within the tech field or gaming industry.
  • 2+ years of recent experience in an engineering supervisory position.
  • Excellent leadership skills with strong influencing sensibilities and commercial acumen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required.
  • Recent .NET client application experience.
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including design patterns and UML.
  • Must possess good analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills.
  • Experience with the full product development lifecycle and multiple releases of enterprise-class software products.
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrates an extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and be team oriented.
