Lead System Engineer

Exciting opportunity to join an innovative team of Engineers in the early stages of an R&D Program.  This is a leadership position that will play an integral role in developing the framework, architecture and core team of the R&D Program.  This person will be responsible to develop the System Architecture (logical and physical) of the fully integrated MS offering by applying the state-of-the-art Systems Engineering methodology and coaching the team in Systems level thinking. Particular emphasis will be on the requirements elicitation, articulation and documentation in the IBM Rational DoorsNG. It is also expected that in this role Systems Engineer will be a go to person and coach to the team in using DoorsNG tool.


  • Manage and monitor Doors Next Generation (DNG), GIT and other engineering tools administration including help-desk support
  • Guide and coach the engineering teams on best requirement development practices
  • Lead requirements decomposition, analysis, traceability, and verification
  • Work alongside technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature the system architecture, function and performance analysis, system Integration, verification and validation


  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in system analysis, design, integration and test
  • Demonstrated technical expertise on requirement development with Doors Next Gen.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in embedded system, IOT architecture and real-time control
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing global teams and third party suppliers.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal oversight
