I have a Tempt-to- Hire position for a Line Mechanic that we are looking to hire IMMEDIATELY for a Personal Care Product manufacturing com. Below is the description:

Job Description:
Job Title: Line Mechanic
City: Culver city- relocating to Bell, CA
State: California
Job Duration: Temp-to-hire
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time / Hourly
Schedule: M-F Must be flexible to OT and possible weekends
Pay Rate: 52-78k

This Plant is currently located in Culver City, Ca and is in transition to Bell, Ca for the next 16 - 24 weeks.

General Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment set ups
  • Perform Sanitation of equipment and tools.
  • Respond to trouble line calls.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks by following PM standards.
  • Identify and perform continuous improvement activities.
  • Communicate daily with supervision on any production abnormality or improvement opportunity.
  • Perform 5S duties as assigned; Keep work area clean and orderly, properly store repair parts, tool boxes and materials.
  • Complete routine Work Orders, Work Requests as required
  • Assist with organizing sorting general maintenance components in the maintenance lab.
  • Correct and/or report all unsafe conditions immediately
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in fast pace Food or Cosmetics Manufacturing Environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing/maintaining conveyors, packaging equipment, industrial gearboxes, chains, sprockets. Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems.
  • Applied skills troubleshooting 115/240/480V motor control systems; Single Phase and 3 Phase. Industrial Sensors, barcode printers.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining Centrifugal, Diaphragm, Positive Displacement Pumps, sanitary CIP and COP systems.
  • Applied skills plumbing and troubleshooting steam systems.
  • Ability to read Machine Manuals and select spare parts.
  • Applied skills with use of testing/measurement instruments; Volt, Amp, tachometers, calipers, micrometers.
  • Basic computer skills; and ability to use Maintenance Work Oder Systems (CMMS).
