Machine Operators: Operating machines, either filling capsules, labels, filling bags with dental products boxing the finished products or counting small parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 

(Please note that other duties may be assigned.)

  • Maintain clean, organized stock areas to standards
  • Operate material handling equipment (carts, pallet jacks, rolling racks, lifts, etc.) in safe manner.
  • Adhere to good lot control practices. (FIFO) if required
  • Stock temperature sensitive materials in appropriate freezers.
  • Follow freezer and other safety rules at all times.
  • Perform accurate physical counts in support of cycle count program, physical inventory, and other projects.
  • Process assigned inventory transactions accurately and in timely manner.
  • Perform inventory inquiries as needed.
  • Print labels for identifying parts.
  • Assist in preparing goods for shipment to customers or for transfer to outside processing by packaging, labeling, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping as might be required.
  • Practice good teamwork and provide good customer service.
  • Timely packaging and shipping of all outgoing customer products
  • Timely receiving into inventory all products from vendors and deliver to appropriate personnel if required
  • Complete all shipping/receiving transactions, documentation and reports as appropriate.
  • Package materials and prepare documents to ship.
  • Performing material handling tasks and inventory count of materials
  • Routes items and documentation to the appropriate department.
  • Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
  • Labels crates and or containers with appropriate information and instructions
  •   Examines all incoming shipments; rejecting shortages and damages and rectifying the problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED.
