Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions has an excellent permanent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician. You will maintain Production Equipment. Perform PM tasks on Production Equipment. Responsible for maintaining building equipment. Also provide technical assistance when electrical or control issues arise.  Maintain and perform PM tasks on the Production Equipment.  Assemble electrical or control systems and equipment according to applicable NEC and state/local codes using hand tools and measuring instruments.

Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical / pneumatic / hydraulic / measuring devices / recording / indicating instruments or testing equipment.  The ability to troubleshoot & understand PLC programs & the corresponding hardware. Assemble and test motor control devices (480 V and lower).  Must be able to read electrical schematics. Must be able to install devices according to these schematics and troubleshoot issues for efficient and effective repairs.


         5 to 10 years’ experience in production maintenance department.

  1. Experience in production maintenance equipment
  2. Working knowledge of production processing equipment
  3. Working knowledge of PLC and Siemens control systems

4.  Working knowledge with boilers and refrigeration systems

5.  Plant project management experience

6.  Must have working knowledge of the following topics: Temperature, pressure, AC and DC control methods, 24V – 480V electrical systems and troubleshooting, VFD’s, automated systems, load cells, control valves, blueprint reading, mathematics,  preventive/?predictive maintenance, PLC, and Motor Controls. Working effectively independently and with a team.

7. Experience computer skills: Excel, Outlook, SAP (Preferred)

8. Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skill

        9.Experience with suppliers, vendors, and working with various departments
