We are hiring a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician in the city of Rancho Cucamonga, this is a temp to hire opportunity for second shift from 2:45PM to 11:15PM Monday - Friday and every other Saturday! the pay is $20.00hr. or depending on experience.  Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician candidate will perform repair and preventative maintenance on production equipment/tools in our facility. This position requires the use of hand and power tools to inspect, lubricate, repair, fabricate, assemble, and install equipment. Duties include the use of electrical, pneumatic, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical and welding. Must be able to work closely with machine operators and production managers and assist in the startup and troubleshooting of equipment and tools.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Uses hand and power tools to inspect, lubricate, repair, fabricate, assemble, and install equipment
  •  Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repair equipment such as but not limited to (Hydraulic Industrial Lifts/air compressors, welding machines etc.) & tools
  • Follows all safety guidelines, min downtime of equipment/tools, and keep in safe working condition
  •  Other duties will also include general maintenance

Qualifications:


• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment

• Previous work experience with electrical
• Experience with machine maintenance (pneumatic, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical), welding, and electrical work required

• Some wiring schematics understanding
• Must understand basic shop math and be able to read manuals
• Basic troubleshooting knowledge
• Must follow safety guidelines, minimize the downtime of equipment/tools
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to work well in teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
