Job Description

Lead Maintenance Technician

Do you have experience troubleshooting industrial equipment? Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered with a Renton based company in search of a Lead Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a potential Temp to Hire position so please apply!

Job Duties:

  • Train and schedule staff to fulfill work orders and upgrades to equipment and basic building functions
  • Develop and implement an employee training and development plan
  • Monitor alarm responses and mechanical operations associated with assigned site location
  • Oversee outside contractor for HVAC functions
  • Work with and troubleshoot Mechanical and Electrical equipment
  • Communicate with Management, building Management and machine operators to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain work orders using a tracking system


  • Knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and their operations
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Understanding of drawing and reading schematics, both electrical and mechanical  
  • Experience with Fabrication, Welding, and Machine Shop
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Team player and demonstrated leadership abilities
