Job Description

Volt is immediately hiring a Manager, Manufacturing Operations to join a top company in Hunterdon County NJ.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages staff in execution of daily work; assures operators comply with validated parameters and standard operating procedures, cGMP regulations and safety requirements; provides constructive operator feedback

Drive continuous improvement including introduction of automation and operational effectiveness to support the larger organization objectives of double-digit growth on the journey to #1 provider as 503B outsourcing facility

  • Manage operations to assure all products are visually inspected, labeled and packed into their finished containers as per applicable standard operating procedure and specifications including documentation such as batch records and logs to assure accurate recording of processes in conformance to policies and procedures and in compliance with Good Documentation Practices

Manage aseptic compounding operations in clean rooms and hoods/biological safety cabinets

Ensure compounded product is acceptable for inspection, labeling and packing operations including documentation such as batch records and logs to assure accurate recording of processes in conformance to policies and procedures and in compliance with Good Documentation Practices

Prepares and submits weekly/monthly reports, prepares metrics and trends data to identify and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities

Establishes & maintains cooperative cross-functional relationships with peers in Quality, and other manufacturing operations colleagues to meet plant objectives

Leads in development & maintenance of a safe manufacturing environment. Participates in safety meetings, investigates accidents, and takes appropriate corrective action to eliminate hazardous conditions

Establishes methods in compliance with regulatory, plant, and corporate policies

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or another related field required

3 years prior experience in cGMP / FDA regulated industry

3 years of supervisory or management experience required

Hands-on direct shop floor involvement:

Troubleshooting

Problem solving

Process flow enhancements

Well versed in the compliance & quality requirements of 503B pharmaceutical industry and 21CFR 210/211 cGMP’s
