Manufacturing Process Engineer Wanted

Our client is a  tooling manufacturer for the aerospace industry, their mission is to deliver quality product to our customers in a timely fashion. They need talented, motivated people working together to make this happen. We are looking for a talented Process Engineer to join a team with people who share the  energy and enthusiasm for producing accurate and functional tooling.

The team.

Our client is  a rapidly growing and highly capable engineering team. They are responsible for all of the initial quoting which is what gets every order through the front door. On top of this challenging responsibility, they are  called upon to plan out the complete manufacturing process in order to ship quality product to our customer while maintaining a competitive edge in the marketplace.

Your job.

As a process engineer your role is to plan out the entire manufacturing process from start to finish. In a tooling environment, each and every job requires individualized attention. The smallest mistakes can snowball into large profit and efficiency losses.

You will be responsible to maintain efficient work practices relevant to continuous improvement. While new tools must be processed from scratch, repeat tools must always be looked at for more profitable opportunities.

We are looking for a hardworking, focused, and driven individual: someone who has passion for building and improving every tool, every day. The ideal candidate understands that no matter how great we become, there is always room to improve.

About you.

Requirements: 

• Some formal technical education preferred (Technical School/AS/BS degree)
• 3+ years experience in the manufacturing industry (aerospace preferred but not necessary)
• Strong blueprint reading skills and knowledge of the tool/part making process
• Ability to learn quickly and retain information in a fast paced environment
• Forward thinking in relation to continuous improvement and maximizing efficiencies
• Strong attention to detail

We get excited about candidates who have:

• CAD/CAM experience (preferably Mastercam)
• Knowledge of LEAN and/or ISO
