In-House Marketing Specialist 

Monday-Friday 7:00am -4:30pm

$25 to $30 per hour DOE

Temp to Hire

Paid Weekly!!

Volt is seeking a temp to hire  experienced Marketing Specialist to provide internal Marketing services to our client, a long established, privately held manufacturing company that has been in business a 150 years. 

This position is responsible for a variety of marketing activities related to product development, product launches and marketing support for sales, specifications and channel activity. This position is working in-office on location allowing for culture development and collaboration. 


  • Provide market research in assigned segment(s), regarding identifying and interpreting key business trends and findings unique to the industry including spending, technology and applications
  • Identify communication opportunities: trade organizations & shows, publications, meetings, and conferences Update and improve upon them
  • Participate as project team members to help develop and continuously analyze operational processes to find and implement new efficiencies
  • Aid in the development and design of marketing collateral (catalogs, brochures, bulletins, product specification sheets, advertisements, public relations) and all other marketing collateral to support marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate graphic production or proposals, projects and marketing literature
  • Work closely with internal teams for monthly launch communications
  • Maintain deadlines for assigned projects
  • Ensure compliance of brand and identity guidelines for developed collateral
  • Work closely with key accounts ensuring electronic communications are received
  • Additional duties as assigned


Education & Experience

  • BA in Marketing or Business Administration required
  • Minimum three years experience in a marketing or marketing related position

Skills & Abilities

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively, and cultivate and maintain relationships with a network of contractors, distributors, specifiers, sales management, and manufacturer's representatives 
  • Must be able to coordinate with Product Management and Marketing team to develop creative, differentiated, and effective marketing and selling tools
  • Must have the ability to create new ideas, and develop tactical plans that support division strategy
  • Must have the ability to create messages and communications vehicles to effectively present the divisions message to the target audience
  • Must be creative, resourceful, able to think independently and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must develop and execute creative solutions to assigned tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office skills including: Outlook, Excel , and PowerPoint and Graphic software familiarity
  • Understanding of pricing strategies and channel management a plus
  • Must have strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop 
  •  basic HTML, Salesforce, and Pardot  skills are a plus
