Job Description

Volt is looking for someone with Supply Chain Experience to work with one of our Fortune 500 companies.  If this is you we want to talk with you so apply today!!!!!!!!!!!

Position will handle the following responsibilities:


• Managing workflow spreadsheet to track supplier through multiple production line non-conforming areas.
o Documenting, in QNOTES generated by special investigators, the return authorizations and additional information needed to process material back to supplier.
o Following up with wage special investigators and quality engineers for additional information if the q-note is not generated properly.
Foster productive collaborative relationship with both salary and the natural work group to drive efficient problem resolution through physical audits.
o Resolving communications from suppliers, accounting, buyers, quality engineers, and shipping on various issues such as tracking material, providing current status of q-note and debit related questions or wrong quantity received.
o Follow up with factory dock and warehouse shipping to root cause material not shipped but processed otherwise.
o Working with supplier, APSS, buyers, quality engineers on reversal of debit memos to correct charges to both internal departments and suppliers.
o Following up on pending NCCA's that suppliers are waiting for additional information from wage special investigators or quality engineers.
o Generating rework purchase orders to pay 3rd party suppliers.
o Answering blocked stock related questions from the material coordinators.
o Processing HOT material or urgent material. (Such as tires, rework, axles, engines).
As time permits, position will also assist Quality Engineers in helping to drive resolution on factory and field failure quality issues.

A strong candidate will also have
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with SAP
- Experience working in a factory environment
- Familiarity with off-highway construction and forestry equipment
- Experience with supply chain

Must be able to pass drug screen, and background.
