Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is looking for a talented, reliable, and driven individual for a Medical Receptionist position with a leading Treasure Valley Health Care Center!

Temp-to Hire position with Full time hire possible for the right candidate!

Start date: ASAP

Monday - Friday 

Pay Rate: $12-15 (Depending on Experience)

Ideal candidate will be a ROCKSTAR! Someone who prefers to work with people, has energy, is inviting and a happy representative of the clinic. Someone who pays attention to proper appearance in a business casual environment and loves making a good impression. 

Daily Front office duties- (Varies per day)

  • Phones, billing calls, patient scheduling, patient request, insurance authorizations and physical therapist patient related request
  • Assisting patients and PTs daily at the front desk
  • New & return evals
  • Verify new/returned account are created & EDoc'd from the previous day
  • Make sure insurance is in correctly. Update patient information. Add intake info/important info
  • Entry of patient accounts & calling insurance companies
  • Creating an account for new patients, updating returning patients account. Calling new & returning patient's insurance to get out patient PT benefits
  • Enter in patient information, get insurance PT benefits for patients
  • Scan documents into Edoc/WebPT Stay on top of scan bin. E'docing in correct patient accts.
  • Reports- Run missing notes & lost patient log
  • Check to see if PT's have missing notes & follow up on lost patients
  • Staff Birthdays- Check for upcoming staff birthdays. Plan the day of the celebration & get cards ready - have all staff sign & decorate
  • Consolidate Schedules- Keep schedules consolidated with no gaps, move patients as needed. Rescheduling patients for PTs
  • Facility Cleaning- Make sure clinic is cleaned on a regular basis(as needed) and rooms are 'patient' ready
  • Clean/ stock estem pads daily.
  • Clean hydrocillator game ready and gym equipment
  • Remind therapist to take traveling box. Give traveling PT the box to take
  • FPT document updates- Update documents when a new PT comes on board, if a new clinic has been added, update info. Update forms on G drive
  • Medical Records. Gather and prepare medical records request
  • Locate chart and submit records by mail or fax with invoice for records fee
  • Insurance aging report- Assist with the insurance aging report
  • Calling insurance companies. Resending corrected claims
  • Stock Forms- Keep forms stocked and up to date at each clinic
  • Stock Rooms - Make sure all the rooms are 'patient ready'
  • Check to make sure every room is stocked with the needed supplies
  • Shared duties are always priorities throughout the day
