Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions has an immediate opening for an NDT Inspector to work onsite with our customer on a 12+ month contract located in Decatur, IL.  Please apply immediately!

  • This NDT Inspector role will focus on Coordinate Measuring Machine inspections.
  • Executes and maintains automated PC-DMIS Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs to support Statistical Process control (SPC) implementation.
  • Interacts with employees in the CMM lab on program methodology.  
  • Maintains/updates existing CMM programs as determined by Customer's Engineering and Lab requests.
  • Also responsible for tracking and entering inspection results in electronic databases.  
  • The technician would be based in the production factory building.

Work Requirements:

  • Individual must possess a high school degree; associates degree is preferred.
  • Some industry CMM experience preferred, will train on customer specific details. 
  • Computer skills, ability to track and enter data for reporting 
  • Individuals should have experience interpreting engineering drawings and following written audit guidelines.
  • Individuals need to be detail orientated, dedicated to upholding quality standards, and adaptable to an ever-changing work environment.
  • Good communication, teamwork skills, and the ability to support a high velocity-manufacturing environment are critical.
  • **Candidates must be able to relocate at their own expense to work onsite at the customer location in Decatur, IL.**
