Job Description

Major technology company is seeking a Network Security Engineer with 5 plus years of experience to develop cloud secure solutions for Azure, AWS, and Google supporting monitoring, management, and integration of network security architecture, security policy, and network controls.

Develop and support network and security compliance using automation by leveraging Infrastructure as Code for continuous analysis (vs. static security and compliance paradigm where requirements are static)

Build and deliver documentation and templates for Infrastructure and Security as Code multi-Cloud deployment – AWS (YAML, JSON), Azure Resource Manager (JSON), Google (JSON

Experience with the development, deployment, and support of self-service toolkit for enabling security and development infrastructure using automation – Security as Code for integration with Development Operations (DevSecOps). Experience with cloud orchestration tools such as:

• AWS CloudFormation

• Puppet

• Ansible

• Chef

• Kubernetes

• Terraform

• Google Cloud Deployment Manager

• Microsoft Azure Automation

Understand and experience for securing and auditing cloud network security objects (vNET, VPC) – scripting languages Python, REST API, JavaScript

Experience and understanding of security best practices relating to Cloud and Virtualization for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).

Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) for infusing security first in the Development Operations (DevOps) framework.

Education / Experience: Integrates enterprise security technical controls for multiple projects/products or projects with significant business impact/risk. Leads the development or definition of security product specifications and intrusion/data loss techniques. Analyzes network security design. Designs, integrates and configures controls. Participates on design review boards. Evaluates and deploys intrusion detection/prevention and data loss prevention tools. Defines scope and standards for network monitoring and monitors network and host-based systems. Activates and assists with incident response.
