Project Manager Principal- Outage
This company located in Richland, WA which is a joint action agency formed by the Washington state legislature in 1957, representing the convergence of small and big public power is seeking a Nuclear Project Manager for a long term contract role. Their consortium of 27 public utility districts and municipalities across Washington takes advantage of economies of scale and shared services that help utilities run their operations more efficiently and at lower cost, to the benefit of more than 1.5 million customers. Their agency further improves quality of life throughout the Northwest through the generation of clean, reliable electricity from nuclear, wind, hydro and solar projects. The agency owns and operates four electricity generating facilities: White Bluffs Solar Station, Packwood Lake Hydroelectric Project, Nine Canyon Wind Project and Columbia Generating Station (nuclear energy facility). The Project Manager should possess PMP Certification: Desired, not required
This project is looking for an individual who has experience with a planned nuclear outage and project experience with the following tasks.
1. FW Heater Eddy Current Support
2. Heat Exchanger Tube Cleaning
3. MSR Inspection and Test
4. Main Condenser Eddy Current Support
5. CW-CT Preventive Maintenance
6. Replace Flex Seal COND-HX-9
7. COND EJ & Piping Replacement
8. Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) Exams
9. Other related projects as directed by the Technical Representative or designee
Refueling outage (R25) services include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Planning and preparation of assigned projects.
2. Implement projects as directed by Technical Representative or designee.
3. Provide oversight of projects as directed by Technical Representative or designee.
4. Other technical support services as directed by the Technical Representative or designee
Please note that this is an outage position and won’t start until 2021
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years of experience directly related to maintenance processes, human performance, and/or continuous improvement; OR an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and twelve (12) years of experience directly related to maintenance processes, human performance, and/or continuous improvement; OR a high school diploma or GED and fourteen (14) years of experience. PMP Project Management Professional Certification desired
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or Professional Engineer Registration. Desired Abilities: PMP Project Management Professional Certification desired.
