Job Description

The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for training partners on all the new products that they purchase. In addition to educating partners on new products, this role will help partners solve technical problems that arise during onboarding and ensure a smooth adoption of our products and services. The Onboarding Specialist will drive partners’ initial success through regular calls, emails, follow ups, proactive risk intervention, and by assisting partners to implement best practices to achieve ROI. 

Position Summary

The Client Onboarding Associate ensures outstanding client experience via execution of the client onboarding process from the stages of contract completion through release of portal credentials and ensures a world-class onboarding experience for new Ally Lending merchants. This role is crucial to client first impressions of Ally Lending services post-sale and sets a precedent for the high standard of accuracy and passion for client success that we deliver.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

Work with the Sales/Account Management team to ensure seamless onboarding for new merchant clients, engaged from contract through to full activation

Help develop and implement industry leading onboarding processes that delight new customers

Oversee processes related to moving prospective complex/enterprise clients through the Onboarding process from Enrollment to System Credentials Release/Training, including but not limited to:

Work with Sales/Account Management team to onboard clients to ensure thorough completion of enrollment form and secure required supporting documentation.

Ensure client satisfaction throughout process with proactive outreach to client and sales team

Collaborate with client operations team counterparts to ensure that onboarding checklists are delivered in full prior to client training as defined for the specific client

Supporting provider underwriting functions as required, based on demand and capacity

Qualifications

Demonstrated project delivery skills

Demonstrated strong organization skills, attention to detail

Excellent communication skills and relationship management skills

Ability to identify and proactively act on changes to internal and external processes to improve or streamline work

Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality results with speed and efficiency

Capability to think creatively to solve problems to achieve client and company goals.

Demonstrated ability to deliver unfavorable results in the face of pressure

Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tool a plus

Education/Experience

2-4 years of experience in sales support or related role

Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

Computer Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products, Hubspot experience preferred.
