Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking a customer service oriented candidate to fill an immediate internal position within our organization. 

If you have a dynamic personality, the ability to multi task and have a passion for helping people, this is the perfect role for you!  In this role you will be providing employee relations support to the current workforce and client end managers.  

Typical work schedule will be 10AM - 6:30PM, however, flexible shift availability is ideal for this position.  The pay rate is depending on experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Build positive working relationships with all field employees.
  • Encourage employees to develop skill sets.
  • Build positive working relationship with client managers.
  • Act as a liaison and represent Volt Workforce Solutions and the client in a professional, courteous and knowledgeable manner.
  • Address and resolve all employee relations issues as well as contingent workforce questions and concerns in a confidential manner.
  • Counsel employees on issues including, but not limited to performance, professionalism, attire, language, attendance and polices.
  • Escalate employee relations matters as needed.
  • Manage and conduct quality reviews for new employees.
  • Check in, conduct new-hire orientation, including security/safety procedures and escort all supplemental workers to their work stations on their first day of assignment.
  • Understand client manager’s staffing needs.
  • Perform floor walkthroughs multiple times throughout the day.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with all Volt and client policies and procedures are being carried out.
  • Provide various customer reports per their request.
  • Ensure compliance to state and Federal employment laws.
  • Complete timely entry of information tracking for performance measurement in Volt Workforce Solutions automated systems.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Assist employees with personnel questions regarding their assignment such as:
    • W4 Changes
    • Address Changes
    • Direct Deposit
    • Payroll Inquiries
    • Attendance point inquiries
    • Sick time facilitation
    • Employment verification

Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a warehouse environment as this position will be housed in one.  Candidates will be required to consent to pre-employment screening.  Attendance is critical to be successful in this role.
