Optical Technician - 1st Shift in Lockbourne, OH at Volt

Volt Workforce Solutions is now hiring for 1st Shift Assemblers for our client in Columbus, an eyeglass processing facility which manufactures frames and lenses. We are looking for candidates who are highly detail oriented, enthusiastic and organized. We are looking for entry-level Assemblers to join our team!

***This is an Entry-Level position. We are willing to train hard working individuals. No experience is required to be considered.

Shift and Pay Rate:

1st shift: Monday through Friday,  6:00 AM - 2:30 PM  - $13.00/hr. 

Job Responsibilities: Willing to train motivated candidates!

• Select lenses/frames for each order
• Stock Lenses and/or frame shelves
• Packaging/Unpacking lenses 
• Sort and deliver trays
• Log, ship, receive orders (frames, supplies, etc)
• Operate frame tracing unit
• Prepare lenses for AR coating
• Cleaning Lenses
• Operate surfacing equipment
• Edger Operation (training offered)

Hiring Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual and good attendance 
• Pre-employment background and drug screening
