Job Description

Oracle EPM Consultant, Financial Systems         

Looking for an Oracle EPM Consultant to transition from SAP, implement and provide support for on-going Oracle EPM Cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for key aspects of transition from SAP BPC and development/administration of Oracle EPM Cloud.
  • Identify, recommend and implement Oracle EPM Cloud (EPM) process improvements as part of the implementation.
  • Provide expertise related to system consolidations and process improvements during initial go-live and operational phase.
  • Ensure best practices related to Oracle EPM Cloud are established in supporting necessary business rules builds.
  • Build and improve reporting aligning to business needs using input templates via web forms and SmartView.
  • Analyze, design and establish new Financial Reporting Studio and system improvements.
  • Assist divisional users with the Data Integration maintenance and enhancements to data mapping files.
  • Maintain metadata, variables, workflows, process management and rules within Oracle EPM as business requirements change.
  • Conduct setup and provide support for end user security.
  • Provide support for Task Manager for month-end, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Create documentation for standard work processes.
  • Collaborate with the Internal and external Oracle implementation team to ensure Phase 1 implementation tasks completed.
  • Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including training new users, creating training materials and facilitating training sessions.
  • Provide support to FP&A group for forecasting and budgeting modules in Planning.
  • Collaborate with IT technical support to ensure system performance is maximized
  • Works closely with Corporate Accounting team, IT, Business Analysis and Planning, operations and executive leaders on financial systems initiative
  • Troubleshoot Oracle EPM system issues
  • Review monthly Oracle upgrades and develop test and integration process

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years combined Oracle EPM Cloud/Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Consolidation and Planning experience
  • Oracle EPM Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME), FCCS and PBCS or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Consolidation a must; Oracle EPM ARCS experience is a plus
  • Expert in SmartView and Financial Reporting Studio
  • Familiarity with G/L Accounting systems such as Syteline, Epicor, JBA, SAP
  • Strong computer and analytical skills with ability to provide technical solutions related to financial applications
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel using advanced formulas and functions, pivots, charts, filtering, and building macros in addition to expanded usage of Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of MS SQL, Essbase, VBA scripting, SharePoint, database applications, and data integrations using ETL tools
