Job Description: The Payroll and Benefits Administrator oversees the payroll and benefits with the highest quality of standards. Responsible to perform a variety of duties to implement daily activities and provide excellent service to internal and external customers in areas including, but not limited to payroll processing, HRIS and benefits administration. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of bi-weekly payroll processing, benefits administration, responding to employee inquiries in timely manner regarding payroll and benefits information and troubleshooting to resolve employee payroll and benefits concerns.
 

Responsibilities:
• Oversee bi-weekly payroll
• Maintain accurate attendance records; reconcile with managers quarterly
• Continue to automate payroll and benefits through Paylocity and ADP platform
• Improve reporting from benefits and payroll systems
• Answer employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits; facilitate problem resolution of same with vendors
• Prepare for and serve as contact for payroll/HR-related audits
• Support and comply with culture and HR best practices
• Reporting & management of Worker’s Comp, disability, and supplemental benefit claims.
• Perform employee on-boarding meetings for new hires; ensure collection of all required information and paperwork-sign off
on checklist
• Produce employee off-boarding paperwork
• Assist the finance organization with payroll related reporting and forecasting as needed.

Qualifications:
• Associates degree in related field, 2-5 relevant experience
• Experience with Paylocity
• Efficient multi-tasker, calm under pressure and with multiple demands on time
• Demonstrated competency with handling confidential information
• Driven to see issues through to resolution
• Flexibility to handle time-sensitive matters as they arise while continuing workflow
• Customer service minded level of professionalism
