Payroll Processor

Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of payroll processing tasks, preparation of reconciliations and related reports, and responding to inquiries related to payroll processes and procedures. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collects, enters and maintains accurate payroll related information to support bi-weekly processing
• Updates payroll records by entering changes related to the following: new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, time sheet data, rate changes, retroactive adjustments and special pays
• Gathers and summarizes all relevant timekeeping data
• Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures
• Provides prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service to internal customers
• Prepares variety of payroll reports and validations in compliance with SOX controls requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years payroll experience in multi-state environment
• ADP and Kronos experience preferred
• Manufacturing payroll is a plus
• Problem solving skills required; attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively alone and in a team environment
• Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred
• Intermediate MS Excel proficiency
