So If you are looking for a challenging opportunity to put your skills to work, then Volt Workforce Solutions has just the position for you! We are currently seeking PC Repair Technicians in the Elk Grove area. These positions will be working Monday through Friday. 

The primary responsibility of the PC Repair Technician will be to Evaluate, Troubleshoot, and Repair Lap top, desk tops and electronic devices, down to component level.  This is a Bench work position and NOT a Help Desk position.  You must have experience with Component Level repair.

As an PC Repair Technician, you will:

  • Boot up systems from external drives running operating systems and diagnostic suites 
  • Run software diagnostic packages to test system performance 
  • Pull and analyze software test logs to identify failed components 
  • Use electronic troubleshooting knowledge to debug failed systems 
  • Using hand tools, disassemble, repair/rework and reassemble Desktop and Portable Devices 
  • Enter test and repair/rework data into shop floor systems (Filemaker Based) 
  • Create and maintain Excel Spreadsheets as required

Requirements:

Technical/Electronics Associates degree

or

A+ Certification

And

1-2 years experience in computer repairs
