Job Description


  • Provide customer application support and service via email and phone support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both clients and vendors through effective and timely communication
  • Complete daily orders in a timely fashion with accuracy and integrity; prioritize orders to ensure the most “critical” are processed immediately for timely delivery 
  • Evaluate orders to determine most effective costs and work with sales reps on discounted pricing
  • Establish effective working relationships with customers through continuous communications on delivery, pricing, req status, and order confirmations
  • Establish effective working relationships with suppliers through cost negotiations and product search/analysis
  • Respond as quickly as possible to any customer requests via ticket system; if not able to answer question immediately, work with suppliers or team to seek information for solutions
  • Follow departmental SOPs for processes and escalations
  • Onboard new clients (when needed)
  • Responsible for capital equipment orders (after 3-month period and supervisor discretion)
  • Consistently support a minimum average of 32 tickets per day
  • Seeks out cost savings opportunities with suppliers
  • Knowledge, trouble shooting and problem solving
  • Exhibits a consistent high level of accuracy
  • Perform other job-related duties as needed


  • 1-2 years customer application support and service experience
  • Purchasing experience, a plus but not required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • Highly proficient with MS Office and MS Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced/changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Decisive, detail oriented, and highly accurate
  • Dependable, flexible and consistent team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues
  • Capable of learning new programs and software applications daily
