Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the Purchase Order reports.
  • Run basic SAP reports to pull invoice data- MUST
  • Making sure funds on Purchase Orders are maintained and meeting guidelines of contract
  • Communicate with operations and management when levels are meeting thresholds.
  • Ensure charge orders or revised Purchase Orders are entered into financial system correctly.
  • Maintain internal controls and SOX procedures are compliant
  • Assist management with internal / External audit requests.
  • Problem solve issues and concerns as they arise and on a proactive basis with branch, operations and accounting staff.
  • Provide Customer Service to both internal and external customers.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of:

  • General accounting principles and practices.
  • Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable processes and principles, account reconciliation techniques.
  • Peoplesoft applications or equivalent complex Accounting systems.

Skills and/or Experience:

  • 2-3+ years of work experience in the field or a related area
  • Spreadsheet Software (Excel) and Database Software (Access, Beginner/Intermediate)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to collaborate with staff, peers, branches, corporate departments and customers as necessary to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to effectively communicate – both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, to demonstrate strong organizational skills and to handle multiple priorities.
  • A background in a service-oriented professional environment working with internal and external customers providing outstanding customer service.
