Job Description

Volt is seeking a Product Designer for one of the largest healthcare providers in the US located in Chicago, IL. 

Do you have prior experience in designing Salesforce or Mobile Apps(IOS & Android) as a Product or UX Designer? Then this is the role for you!!

Job Responsibilities:
• Be an expert of your experience domain, understanding and shaping how your product fits inside our larger ecosystem of products and services
• Work closely with different departments, teams, and roles to discover and balance the business needs, technical needs, and the user needs for your product
• Document and visualize the outputs of collaboration to facilitate alignment on the vision, requirements, and direction of design
• Facilitate or conduct in-the-moment sketching/ideating with both creative and non-creative roles
• Validate designs through usability testing in partnership with researchers
• Regularly initiate design critique for your team’s work
• Present design work to a variety of audiences at all levels of the organization
• Proactively determine the necessary deliverables, including but not limited to: design requirements, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, optimized web assets, and anything else that helps clearly communicate design intent to a broad audience
• Work collaboratively using a variety of digital tools such as Sketch, Invision, Adobe CC, Mural, Validately, etc.

Required Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Human Computer Interaction (or other job related field) and 3+ years of experience OR 7+ years of experience in product/UX design
• Experience designing for Salesforce applications using Lightning or Experience designing for IOS & Android Applications.
• A portfolio demonstrating your ability to craft engaging experiences
• Understanding of the human centered design process
• History of staying informed about best practices in human centered design
• Demonstrated ability to design for desktop and mobile experiences
• Experience with usability testing
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
