Product Engineer - REMOTE OPPORTUNITY! in Moline, IL at Volt

Volt is seeking several Product Engineers to work for our client, John Deere Seeding Group.  This is a remote contingent position forecasted for one year.  Occasional travel to John Deere’s facility in Moline, IL may be required for testing.  Within this role, you will migrate software requirements from an exiting tool to a proposed tool.

Responsibilities within Matlab/Simulink -
Migrate the JDOS-16 /AUTOSAR models to embedded-32
Update/Create Model-In-the-Loop (MIL) test to confirm the behavior of the models based on the requirements

Responsibilities within System Integration -
Work with Deere program verification champions to ensure the functionality performs as expected once migrated

Responsibilities within Github -
Organize software models per Deere team’s defined structure
Review process followed enabled per Deere Team’s definition

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Technology or Information Technology discipline

Required Skills:

• 6-8 years of experience in a related role
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems
• Experience with C programming language
• Experience with John Deere Operating Systems preferred

Must be available to work on W2 for Volt.  No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
