Volt is looking local candidates for a Product Systems Engineer working onsite with our customer John Deere in Cedar Falls, IA in a contingent position forecasted for 3 years.  We’re seeking an individual for our Systems Engineering organization in the area of requirements management. The individual is someone who is or can become proficient in the PTC Integrity software, which is used for requirements management. The individual should be able to help senior engineers with 1) the mechanics of how to use the tool 2) formatting/transferring/inputting data or 3) creating reports for them.  The person needs to have an “eager to help” and an “eager to learn” mindset.

Requirements.:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or equivalent
  • Prior experience in requirements management tools
  • Strong analytical and computer skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • 1+ years of experience in equipment or automotive industry

Desired skills:

  • Trained in Systems Engineering
  • Prior experience in requirements management tools, preferably PTC Integrity
  • Prior experience in Model Based System Engineering using SysML, UML etc. Specific experience in PTC Integrity Modeler would be plus
  • Prior experience in high people interaction role such as training
  • Knowledge of an industrial product development process and tools such as FMEA.

Must be available to work on W2 for Volt.  No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
