It’s an EXCITING time to be on the Emerson Team!  Emerson’s Rosemount Measurement & Analytical business is Hiring Direct Placement Full-Time Production Assemblers– all positions include full benefits (immediate eligibility).    

Due to incredible growth – Emerson has full-time positions available on their 1st and 2nd shifts. Openings are at all three Twin Cities Locations: SHAKOPEE, CHANHASSEN, and EDEN PRAIRIE.

  • Starting wage is $15.13/hour (+ shift differential equaling $15.83 for 2nd shift)

Job Duties/Tasks - What will you do?

  • Assembly of devices that are used for measurement in a wide range of industries
  • You will perform a wide variety of tasks at a work station, such as: hand soldering; brazing; making repairs; performing testing; and packaging of finished products
  • Inspect work to ensure total quality

Life as an Emerson Instrument Builder:


  • High School Diploma or GED, and a Solid work history showing record of dependability
  • No Experience Required, training will be provided – you will be given the mentorship and tools needed to be successful
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Positions are contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment screening 

Current Shift Opportunities at Emerson:

1st Shift – 4 Day Work Week (40 hours): Monday – Thursday, 4:30am – 3:00pm

1st Shift  4 ½ Day Work Week (40 Hours): Monday - Thursday, 5:30am - 2:30pm, and Friday 5:30am - 11:30am

2nd Shift  4 Day Work Week (40 Hours): Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:30am
