 The purpose of this position is to schedule, perform, and oversee the maintenance, operation, and repair of production equipment. The Production Maintenance Technician III will also interact heavily with other Production Maintenance Technicians, Production Associates and internal team members.

Additional responsibilities include:    

  • Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and subsystems of production line equipment.
  • Responding to trouble calls from Production Operators, providing assistance with equipment set-up, material change-out, line clearance, and basic operation.
  • Coordinating efforts with outside vendors and contract service providers to accomplish objectives.
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance on production equipment utilizing the MP2

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. A technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred. 
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working with production equipment and systems is required. A minimum of 5 years’ experience with electrical applications up to 480 volts is preferred.
  • Experience with hand and power tools and their associated safety procedures is required. Experience working in GMP/ISO 9000 manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience working in high paced manufacturing environment.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • PLC, electrical (including reading and interpreting schematics), and robotic working knowledge and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of QSR/ISO 9001 is preferred.
  • Understanding and application of safety procedures
  • Strong abilities in the areas of communication, cooperation, interpersonal skills and documentation
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Basic skills with machine lathe and milling machine preferred.
  • Basic computer skills including file management, MS Word, and preventative maintenance software
  • Ability to lift moderate to heavy equipment in excess of 50 pounds.
