Job Description

VOLT is hiring a Production Worker for a prestigious organization in South S.F, Ca 

This Client is making everyone happy everyday.


Produces packaged items according to Standard Operating Procedures and specified quality standards.  Carries out specific instructions from Plant Manager or designated Production Worker Lead in accordance with the daily packaging schedule.


  • On a daily basis, receives instruction from Plant Manager or designated Production Worker Lead with regard to type and quantity of products to be packed;
  • Performs required machinery and equipment set up and dismantles as directed;
  • Transports sleds/pallets of candy from packaging staging area to individual packaging machine and/or packaging lines;
  • Perform product set up to specified schedule;
  • Maintains proper level of products, from plastic trays, on the conveyor belt;
  • Visually inspects products on the conveyor belt and rejects products that are unacceptable, based on the company’s quality specifications;
  • Prepare and package according to the published Standards of Procedure;
  • Manually weighs items into each bag or carton, ensuring that weights are in accordance with the instructions from Plant Manager or designated Production Worker Lead;
  • Ensures that each bag or carton is properly packaged and sealed by passing the product through a metal detector and sealing/taping machine (or by manually taping these);
  • Promptly reports to Plant Manager or designated Production Worker Lead or Quality Manager all equipment malfunction as they occur, and all sub-standard quality condition of candies for packaging.
  • Affixes the appropriate label onto each bag or carton 
  • Arranges cartons in a uniform manner onto wooden pallets, and affixes a production/inventory tag on each pallet
  • Transports the pallet of finished product to the warehouse area;
  • Maintains cleanliness and regular upkeep of packaging area and all equipment and utensils found therein; and;
  • Observe and follow safety procedures;
  • Take responsibility for producing high quality product in each step of production;
  • Maintain clean work area.
