Project Manager II

This airline company based in Seattle, WA is seeking a Project Manager for a contract role. The selected candidate will provide project management support for Maintenance and Engineering integration that involves coordination between various groups both within divisions as well as across divisions. Contribute to the success of the company by integrating large and/or complex programs and projects. Assist Material Control department with bringing together two separate General Procedures Manual (GPM) to a single integrated GPM.

Assist with developing Joint Procedures Manual between client and their primary parts provider. Develop process and procedures for Stores Handbook. Organize meetings with various work teams to collect and disseminate integration information, plan and schedule tasks and resources, generate timelines, and structure a process for consensus and individual commitment for deliverables. Work effectively with internal and external groups to ensure successful completion of programs and projects. Communicate program and project status to participants and stakeholders in writing as well as in formal presentations. Lead teams in project execution and ensure the project follows established company project management methodologies and standards.

Ensure that all program and project documentation is completed accurately and on time. Identify and communicate any unresolved problems or possible timeline issues along with recommended actions for correction. Track project issues and risks. Positive attitude and professionalism with a great attitude in high pressure situations. Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of material control, material planning, technical purchasing or technical documentation. Ability to interpret Boeing and Airbus technical documentation, such as IPC, AMM, CMM and engineering drawings.

In-depth knowledge of Sharepoint, Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business and technology groups. Ability to lead complex program and project efforts to completion.

Ability to manage multiple objectives/tasks. Ability to identify problems and independently develop alternatives for resolution. Preferred skills: Knowledge of FAA and ASA standards. TRAX inventory experience.
