Project Manager/Scrum Master  Franklin, TN - Estimated 12 month assignment

General Responsibilities:

• Will be assigned to multiple new product development projects as a Scheduling Leader and/or Agile team Scrum Master.

• Lead project teams to develop optimized project schedules with the consideration of project risks.

• Work with Project Manager and project team members to set milestones and time-boxed objectives.

• Work with team members and Project Manager to determine the MVP (minimal viable product) for launch based on time, resources, and scope.

• Maintain and manage project schedules during the project with inputs from project team members.

• Anticipate and mitigate potential project schedule risks and capture opportunities. Ensure milestones are clear to team members to achieve project schedule goals.

• Work with project team members to solve project issues and challenges.

• Share with Project Manager and project team members the responsibilities on the performance of the projects.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies of Program Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.

Job Duties:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies of Program Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.

• Work with project teams to drive toward meeting or exceeding project goals.

• Work closely with the Project Manager to escalate and remove roadblocks for the project team.

• Communicate project schedules to team members and stakeholders on regular and as needed basis.

• Work with project team members to solve any project schedule challenges, risks, and issues.

• Bring any lessons learned and best practices to Scheduling team and project teams.

• Spread and share best practices and lessons learned from other projects.

• Depending on projects assigned, some travel may be required.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree. Engineering degree preferred.
  • Experience in new product development areas preferred
  • Experience in electronic hardware, firmware, and software preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with capabilities of influence and persuasion.
  • Excellent team player. Work as a servant leader to the project teams
  • Experience in Agile Project Management Practices preferred.
  • Results driven attitude while staying positive.

Shift: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
