R&D Test Engineer in Bothell, WA at Volt

Job Description

VOLT is seeking candidate for an " Electromechanical QA Engineer” for our client on Seattle East side.  This is a contract to hire position 75% onsite position. 

Must Haves:

• 10+ years industry experience as a QA Engineer
• LabVIEW expertise
• MS Office
• Electromechanical aptitude (working with filters, regulators, etc)
• Detail-oriented
• Hands-on (ease with assembling things)
• Ability to work in a regulatory environment
• Attention to detail

Nice-to-have:

• MATLAB
• JUMP
• Simulink
• BS Mechanical Engineering
• BS Electrical Engineering
• Medical Device Sector, or similar
• Aerospace Sector, or similar

Job Brief:

• Work with R&D Design Engineers (50% of the job)
• Validate the life of the components
• Collect Data
• Analyze that data (eg,, which platforms to use)
• Track protocols
• Present results in MS Office
• Run the tests in LabView (50% of the job)
• Look at results
• Modify/recalibrate results
• Rerun the tests
