Receptionist/Customer Service Coordinator
We are actively seeking a Facilities Coordinator/Receptionist for our client in Durham, NC. Do you like to greet visitors and answer a switchboard? Manage the front desk of a busy medical device company. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic global company in the orthobiologics industry. SAP experience is a must.
This is a temporary to permanent position. Day shift; Approximately 30 hours/week
Weekly Pay; Pay rate: $18/hr-$20/hr DOE
Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance
- Manage all facility maintenance needs with landlord.
- Manage all facility related vendors providing external goods or services.
- Coordinate with Procurement to solicit proposals and contract for the best solution for required goods or services for Facility.
- Manage employee office assignments per approved guidelines and maintain a current seating chart.
- Manage and coordinate office assignment, needs or disposition for new, current and departing employees.
- Manage equipment and services for Durham facility (ex. copiers, mail, shred, beverage coffee, supplies, etc.).
- Coordinate and support special events as defined.
- Confirm all initiated services have been; (1) satisfactorily performed, (2) invoiced per contracted terms.
- Maintain general appearance and cleanliness of conference rooms.
- Assist in planning and preparation of visitors, meetings, town halls, conferences and conference calls. May include ordering meals, drinks, chairs or supplies. Ensure space availability.
Front Desk
- Greet, assist and direct all guests and visitors.
- Receive, direct and relay telephone messages.
- Maintain and facilitate all employee and visitor badges.
- Ensure coverage/staffing of front desk during working hours
Education and Experience
- HS Diploma
- Minimum 4 years administrative and coordination experience
- Basic knowledge of facility needs and ability to plan and manage work under time constraints.
- Ability to set objectives, prioritize tasks and work independently in carrying out assignments to completion.
- Excellent communication skills
- SAP experience
