Job Description

Volt is looking for a Recruiter for an AWESOME Contract to Hire opportunity with a major semi-conductor company that operates internationally. Our client, develops, manufactures, and supports infrared and electro-optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles and airborne platforms.  They are offering an exciting environment, a competitive salary and benefits package, and a culture that rewards performance. 

This is a Contract-To-Hire opportunity with the contract going 6 months to hire.

The right individual will be responsible for the full-life cycle recruiting to include posting positions, applicant flow, creative sourcing, pre-screening candidates, interviewing and selection, offer process and candidate management.

Maintains accurate records and reports on all phases of the recruitment process.

Basic Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources preferably in recruitment
  • Proven knowledge of state, federal and EEO regulations regarding hiring practices is required
  • Exposure to behavioral interviewing techniques
  • Experience in sourcing candidates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired Skills

  • Experience working in a technical field and/or recruiting engineering, operations, and technical talent
  • Advanced skill and experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems for tracking and reporting
  • Proven knowledge of state, federal and EEO regulations regarding hiring practices is required
  • Highly developed knowledge of behavioral interviewing techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively source candidates
