SUMMARY:

In this dynamic position within the Software Engineering organization, you will play an integral role in being the champion for our business partners with our Development organization. Technical Systems Analysts are responsible for preparing and supporting our developed solutions for customer and employee utilization.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Share expertise of business utilization of our developed solutions with development teams.
  • Perform tier I and tier II troubleshooting and incident resolution.
  • On-call response, escalation, and issue resolution
  • Facilitate Major Incident Management bridge calls and communications to the organization.
  • Works well in a team environment and matrix organization
  • Extensive knowledge of operations and delivery concepts, principles, standards, tools, techniques, and methodologies
  • Work effectively with Software Engineering’s QA and Development teams to ensure implemented solutions meet department guidelines and recommendations.
  • Ensure applications and their supporting infrastructure are monitored with alerting and contact in line with our best practices.
  • Minimize negative impact or downtime to our production systems with proper change control and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Science
  • 3-4 years of related experience supporting business applications.
  • Other combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience utilizing ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Pager Duty, PowerShell, and Confluence is ideal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodologies

  • Ability to do root cause analysis and communicate affectively to the business or our customers
