Are you an experienced and highly skilled RF Technician?

We are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available RF Technician for an opportunity located in Richardson, TX.

This individual will support a variety of technical tasks using basic engineering/electro-mechanical principles and techniques in order to solve complex problems. Will assist in the RF tuning, development, construction and testing of passive and active antennas and processes.


  • Perform routine RF measurements of base station antenna design parameters including but not limited to S-parameters and Patterns
  • Perform testing of RF active circuits such as Amplifiers, Filters, Oscillators, Mixers etc.  Basic understanding of digital circuits is desired
  • Assists in the maintenance of far field, near field test ranges and Lab equipment.
  • Work under minimal supervision and guidance of engineering staff, responsible for the operation of engineering test equipment in a laboratory setting
  • Troubleshoots complex PCB/ PCBA independently or with guidance from engineers
  • Reports model testing status and results to departmental Supervisor/Manager and Engineers as appropriate
  • Assists in the documentation of manufacturing methods and procedures
  • Material handling e.g. shipping and receiving. Assists in model fabrication, assembly, theoretical tuning, and design development. Modify antenna prototypes, parts, and assemblies correct functional deviations
  • Operates fabricating equipment including PCB milling machine, hand soldering tools, drill press, and related hand tools
  • Operate Test equipment including but not limited to power meters, network analyzers, PIM analyzers, network analyzers, spectrum and vector signal analyzers and, antenna range software, (far field and near field)
  • Troubleshoots and repairs problems in completed assemblies, modifies if necessary. Will troubleshoot an electronic problem area to determine cause and remedy problem. Able to document work instructions and simple test reports


  • Associates Degree with minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Good soldering skills
  • Assembly experience
  • Understands TD, Port Extensions, Smith Chart, RL, ISO
  • Able to troubleshoot circuits and read schematics
  • Experience with Excel formulas and PowerPoint
  • Able to tune and troubleshoot without supervision
  • Works well on a team and demonstrates leadership skills
  • Able to work on multiple tasks and expedite tasks
  • Recognized as top performer by internal customers
  • Able to document work instructions and simple test reports
  • Debugging and repair of Networking products
  • Production failure repair and root cause analysis
  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • Understanding of PIM
  • Simple programming skills
  • Basic repair experience in Factory preferred
