Now hiring for a Sales Coordinator in the Apex NC area!

This is a contract to hire opportunity! 

2. Position Goals/Job Summary

Supports the North American sales, customer service and technical service organization with administrative duties including quote preparation, regional trade show organization, and customer communications.  As well as provide support to the Customer Service and Technical Service Team.

This position is a leading proponent, strong supporter and top user of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System, Salesforce.

3. Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Develop sales quotes and proposals as needed by the sales organization for all capital equipment & clippers.

Develop sales quotes as needed by sales organization for our network of global agents (Apex built equipment only).

Develop, send and follow up on quotes and proposals for bench clipper inquires that are received through email, website and phone.

Creates new opportunities in the CRM system (if one does not already exist) and attaches the quote and other correspondence to the opportunity.

Maintains critical documentation (hard copy and/or electronically in the CRM system.  i.e.:  Contract, Performance Agreement, etc.

Utilizes the CRM tools and features to assign/accept follow-ups, to-do, etc. and measures time to closure.

Keeps the sales organization informed on all pertinent information and actions that would affect them or customers.

Follows Capital Equipment orders from receipt of the purchase order shipment of equipment and all components (Capital Equipment Order Entry Process).

Maintains customer and asset data in CRM.

Work with Technical Service to prepare PRoCARE proposals.

Assist Technical Service with quoting, reviewing time/expenses on work orders and invoicing in CRM and ERP systems.

Support Customer Service in entering orders and quotes.

Supports Customer Service with rotation coverage at the reception desk, (i.e. greeting visitors and answering the switchboard)

In coordination with the Marketing Department organizes regional tradeshows in the USA.  This includes the affairs associated with industry associations to include member dues, contributions and ads in trade magazines/newsletters.  Manages costs and keeps within established budget.

Administrative duties to include:

Prepares for distribution - booklets, mailings, data and organizes the department’s storage areas.

Supports the sales team with organization and material transport to/from meetings.

Ordering and payment for all web activities and association fees.

Supports technical service and other departments as necessary with training classes and meetings as needed in Apex. (i.e.  hotel, lunches, certificates)

Order supplies for area.

Prints and distributes reports to the sales team:  YTD Customer Status and Aging by Territory

Perform other related duties as assigned by manager.

4. Required Skills and Experience

Education / Studies

Which degree is required?

Associates degree preferred, or High School diploma with relevant experience and continuing education.

Professional Experience

Which professional experience is desirable (in years and in which divisions / positions)?

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport, listening and questioning skills.

Strong project tracking skills

Strong documentation skills.

Attention to detail

Ability to conduct research into event and meeting planning.
