Volt Workforce Solutions has immediate opportunities for experienced Sanitors (Sanitation Associates) in Tulare County. Candidate/s are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing processing and packaging equipment that produces products. 2nd and 3rd shifts available

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning, have a good understanding of lockout / tag out procedures, and know the types of cleaners to be used and how to use them safely.  Keep production floor in sanitary condition and assure quality standards established by company. Work safely by following code of safe practices. Work in a quick and efficient manner. Good communication skills and be able to work independently and in a team. Attendance at work is an essential job duty. Job requires regular attendance and work to be performed in all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Lifting required up to 50lbs, occasionally during shift

Vacuum lines with 14 gallon ridge vacuum 

Change 5 gallon water jugs

Wash, change and refill 5 gallon foot baths 

Sweeping and mopping 

Break room cleaning 

Able to stand on feet the entire shift, near heavy machinery in a loud manufacturing environment

Pushing / Pulling Carts 

Able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, hazardous/loud equipment and slippery surfaces
