Volt Workforce Solutions has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accounting Clerk with experience in manufacturing.

Objectives of this Role

  • Match, batch & code AP invoices                                  
  • Code & process non-inventory A/P invoices
  • Issue AP check payments
  • Perform accounting and clerical functions to support the accounting team
  •  Research and/or resolve AP vendor inquiries
  • Prepare General Journal entries, i.e. month-end accrual entries
  • Handle administrative tasks, such as filing invoices, scanning documents, etc.
  • Account analysis as requested by Management

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in an Accounting role
  • Manufacturing ERP experience is a major plus
  • Solid understanding of GAAP Accounting
  • Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Personable, polite, and professional in interactions with co-workers and vendors

 Qualifications

  • Experience in Accounting
  • Experience in a Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles in the U.S.) would be a huge plus
