Position Summary

The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Finance team in consolidating, planning, analyzing and reporting financial results.  This position is located at the Paso Robles, CA facility.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors financial and business KPI’s throughout the month and produces consolidated monthly reports; summarizing and analyzing actual and forecast results.
  • Responsible for various month-end closing responsibilities.  Develops detailed analytics summarizing underlying data for the operational P&L's across multiple physical sites.  Reviews and analyzes material variances.
  • Partners with multiple function leaders to collect inputs required for monthly forecasting and annual strategic planning and budgeting processes. 
  • Participates in successful completion of both internal and external audit requests.
  • Supports completion of annual physical inventory process.
  • Identifies and implements continuous improvement activities to drive efficiencies in both role and department.  Supports continuous improvement activities to drive efficiencies in operations.
  • Supports Controller with special projects and ad-hoc analysis as requested.

Experience and Skill Required

  • Minimum 5 years experience in financial functions with a manufacturing company.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance/business or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability of performing financial planning & analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to educate non-financial associates on basic financial principles.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite and ERP systems in general.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
