Job Description:

Perform certified code review of medical bills using HCPCS, ICD-10 and CPT Professional books.

Prep medical bills for data entry, including identification of such things as procedure codes, diagnosis codes, provider information, provider specialty, etc., by reviewing descriptions on the bills and/or reviewing medical records. 

As needed, also provides administrative processes support, including data entry of medical bills into the company’s DecisionPoint application, as well as page classification and organization of attorney demand packages. Training of processes and applications is provided and processes are well-documented.  Limited decision-making.  Prioritization and management of workload required.

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with some possibility for flexibility


  • AAPC standards Certified Coder CPC or CPC-A required
  • Computer proficiency and able to learn new applications
  • Excellent typing skills required
  • High school diploma required
  • Medical coding job experience a plus
