Job Description

VOLT’s client is looking for a Software Developer

This is an estimated 6-12 month position in the Tri-Cities area and offered through Volt Technical Resource. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support many of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.

This individual will interface with the customer to develop technical specification requirements documents, design diagrams, and other documentation to define deliverables and support the configuration control processes within the organization. Using Visual Studio (or other various development tools) to develop ASP.NET webpages, writing HTML, C# / Razor, JavaScript, jQuery, etc. to complete customer requirements. They will also follow SQA procedures and prepare documentation software classification and quality assurance documents and maintain code base in TFS.

The Ideal Candidate will be proficient in the following areas:

  • VB.Net
  • Classic ASP
  • ASP.NET C#
  • The MVC pattern
  • Entity Framework
  • JavaScript
  •  Java
  • Groovy Scripts
  •  jQuery

This role will also involve Project Monitoring. This will occur on an iterative basis, the software developer will evaluate each extract deliverable, review for completeness and quality, and then provide feedback for modification or acceptance of each deliverable. This monitoring process will continue until we accept each deliverable.

  • Software Quality Assurance Program Description and Implementation
  • Software Quality Assurance and Configuration Controls of Non-SSC Software
  • Information Services Configuration Management Program
  • Development Coding Standards
  • Environmental Management System
  • Complete, tested, and implemented applications based on customer requests.
  • Project Monitoring
