Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking a Software Test & Integration Engineer for our client in Kent, WA.

You will be responsible for providing technical leadership with software projects, software supplier management activities, selection, tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metrics. Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations. Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards.  You will train and mentor others.

This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

This position onsite.

Responsibilities

•Assist in the planning, development and implementation of the assembly and integration of satellite subsystems and spacecraft.
•Assist in Satellite system and subsystem assembly and integration procedure development, review and execution.
•Assist in the Systems Test Engineering team in the planning, execution and status of subsystem and system level testing.
•Apply technical knowledge to determine and set technical objectives to analyze, investigate and resolve advanced engineering problems; including future applications, and engineering developments

Education / Experience Level

•Minimum Bachelors of Science degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics or related technical field of study

• 10+ yrs experience.

Desired Skills/Experience

•Experience with satellite subsystem and system level testing
•Launch integration experience
•Experience assembling electronics systems
•Strong hands-on skills, with experience handling space flight hardware and associated standards and practices
•Previous experience working with thermal chambers, vibration table, vacuum chambers, or anechoic chambers
•Technical subject matter expertise in space subsystems and systems
•Experience on rapid development programs
•Experience in successfully delivering flight hardware to customer
