Job Description

Major technology company is seeking a Software Trainer for support and training of the company product solution(s) and will be responsible for the administration, support and maintenance of all related systems, applications and training for end-user. The Software Trainer will also assist in testing of tools and processes that will increase the usability and effectiveness of products and environment.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure that the company’s software products are being effectively implemented and utilized by our clients and internal departments.
  • Provide training and support to end-users.
  • Report on issues and trends encountered with clients.
  • Analyze and report on technology/solution tools.
  • Help define enhancements for the company’s applications.
  • Develop, both technical and end-user documentation and video.
  • Review client (end-user) computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
  • Study existing software systems to evaluate effectiveness to improve production or workflow as required.
  • Develop instructional material and incorporate current technology in related specialized fields that provide guidelines to assist client and staff education priorities.
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems and review system capabilities, workflow, and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Ensure that company-based information and links are current.
  • Assist departments in resolution of work problems related to functionality, project specifications, or system debugging. Upgrades system and corrects errors to maintain system.
  • Prepare time estimates for completing projects.
  • Prepare activity reports and status reports on system software.
  • Works with third party escalation team when troubleshooting and resolving issues.
